So far not as good as Rally Cry. The Yankee chapters are pretty boring with almost nothing but them just standing around. The Tugar chapters are infinitely more interesting due to actually progressing the plot and exploring the world. But hey, it's only the beginning of the book. I've heard good things about this series, so I'm sure it'll get better.

I was just saying in my review of The Pilot last month how much I disliked antagonists who seem to know everything and whose plans go perfectly. Well, that's pretty much what the first 2/3rds of this book is. Sure, a few little things go wrong and they build up, but this book has the curious quality of entertaining me while also making me incredibly angry.
