Status Updates From The World That Couldn't Be

Enjoyed this story as I do many from that golden age of sci-fi. This story as many the time contains numerous metaphors. Is the cytha God or an example of evolution and it's possibilities. Maybe it's just mother nature.

If this weren't so short I'd stop now. I kind of hate the protagonist, who seems dumb and arrogant and altogether unlikely to get smacked over the head by those combined traits. But it's only an hour and a half of audiobook; might as well finish it and find out.
