This book started out strong but now it seems to be falling into the usual paranormal romance trap. Magic girl meets vampire lord and that will be all the story is about from here on out, their "romance". Ugh. Just for once I would like one of these types of books to have more story than just that.

i picked this up on libby cuz i wanted to listen to another audio book narrated by james m. (SPIKE FROM BUFFY <3) and i'm really enjoying the different twists they've taken on how vampires work in this world. deeply funny that they just float in the air and then zoom around like...ok.
