Status Updates From Vergogna

In terms of writing style this is amazing to read. In terms of subject matter, it is extremely difficult. I feel very misled by the blurb that the professor is having an "affair." Will this end up being subversive or just traditionally misogynistic?

I blame Yesteryear. If I am going to read about a morally dubious character, a society in crisis and bad things happening to women, at least I am going to try a booker prize winning novel from a Nobel prize winning author in hopes it is less vapid. And it is meaningful though wow, dark...
