reading a ghost story at 3 in the morning in the dim light of my common room while listening to absolutely chilling classical music….i do this to myself truly. only the racism in this can save me now by taking me briefly out of the story and back to reality every time

hit the point of the collection where i have stories i love stories i like and stories i don’t like at awl.

NEED to get on agatha christie's romance god it's so compelling. she might even turn me to the side of pathetic men. also i am LOVING my time in her short story land theyre so fun!!!!!

one thing about me is im going to read aloud a book that is age inappropriate for my kid brother instead of a proper bedtime story solely bc *i* want to read it 🙂‍↕️ has been this way since he was a baby. anyway all this to say i predicted the twist of the first story which was fun and im actually starting to fuck w agatha christie’s writing heavyyy (which is in part bc i love short stories so)
