I have read now the majority of the book and I would say I am a bit disappointed with the stories and their lack of that "kafkaesque" element in them.
For 3/4 stories - with the exception of Judgement , which I think was extremely well written and straightforward - most of the short stories had either not that deep of a narrative or an extension of conscious commentary that isn’t necessarily.
