He lusts after the memory of his brother's wife with an entitled 'I hounded her first' during their time in a prison camp. (She's a sexually-liberated Jewish woman who is routinely reduced to a collection of body parts when described living constantly under threat of death by pogrom.)

This is good but I just finished rereading Dune so everything else is a bit uninteresting in comparison for a while. Martin Amis is good. I will soon have more to say once the Dune effect dissipates
