The chapter on Faith was very impactful. Obama writes of how the religious right hijacked the faith and how progressive politicians’ aversion to religious ideals and language has been to the Democratic Party’s detriment. How do we engage our faith in political life in a pluralistic society, and how do we demonstrate that we do so not just to be pluralistic, but because it aligns with our faith?
