Status Updates From Twilight Eyes: A Thriller

Lots of skimming and skipping at this point but I still don’t feel like I’ve missed anything.

Finally starting to move along with less obnoxious prose. But now there’s an “we’ve known each other a whole entire week, we’re clearly totally in love!” Thing going on too 🤮

Lots of skimming going on. 80s was not the decade of his best books it seems. Everyone trying to be deep and psychoanalyze everyone else based on a couple sentences. 🙄

I feel like there’s a good story, but it’s buried in the tons of needless details. A whole paragraph to list the kinds of trees in the area or how some chicks hair looks in sunlight?! Not his best work

Doing a re-read of this one because I remember when I was younger (like 20’s) my dad really encouraged me to read this book and stated how good of a horror book it was. I’m am struggling soooooo hard to finish it this time (much like the first go) even though I’m doing the audiobook which should make it more palatable.
