A solid historical romance that has a hero w feminist views? Really like this author’s romances, they’re balanced and of the two that I’ve read, there’s drama but it’s not ott.. 3.5/4 stars, I enjoyed it.

Read the reviews after finishing the first chapter, and it’s not boring?? Really like Samuels’s writing, it doesn’t shy away from sex but not in a way that’s abrasive… it’s tasteful 💁‍♀️ and the characters are nicely fleshed out. Also really like the inclusion of Mary—I guess she makes it a LT and I’m excited to see where it goes.
