The language it is written is what I'd call "flowery academse".
I could gollow along well enough, when the subject matter was purely theretical focusing on ideology itself, but then it goes into discussing authors that I'm unfamiliar with, their discourse and contrasting ideas, so that, plus Millet's own commentary in her dense writing style became quite heavy to read.
