It's interesting where I can note the difference in language between Canadian-biased English and American-biased English. I don't think I've read a book written by a Canadian before! Or if I have, I hadn't noticed.

I'm liking Natalie's character. The difficulties she is facing are dealt with in reasonable ways. While she makes mistakes, she also learns.

I like the characters. Nat is experiencing real troubles with her former best friend, but also there are wonderful moments with her sister that echo the ups and downs siblings go through.

So often it seems the same in these teen novels. The protagonist makes stupid decisions that the reader knows is wrong. That may be a literary device that helps to drive the plot forward. It is, however, frustrating at the same time.

Worst book I've read in a while. I think that the plot had potential, but the main character is just...awful. See if it gets any better..

Gonna attempt to read this while at camp. lol wish me luck!

I'd like to say that the writing style for this book is...interesting? IDK. I find it kind of weird. Plus, what happens in the plot is totally unexpected but in a really strange and kind of crazy way...and sometimes awkward???
