Not a great adaption. Ray Bradbury’s prose is crammed into the pages, which I understand (because it’s beautiful), but I think that’s where it’s up to the art to make up for the lack of narrative. Stylistically it’s very cool but ultimately doesn’t quite hit its mark. Maybe it’s because I just read Locke and Key, but I could see Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez absolutely breathe new life into this piece.
