The way it combines past narratives and current reporting stories is fascinating. Hope I can see the two of them intertwine more quickly

Sigh. hoping for better things from a book with an older narrator. But there’s a gross spouse, and a pregnancy, and a man who is nicer to her - will she join herself to him? I think I just read this book but it was about the same problems of someone 20 years younger. It also takes place in France! (The Virgin Blue!)
