COMEDY/QUEST
This book is a comedy&quest-based book, in my opinion. The main character, Eddie, is kidnapped-well, more of "taken hostage" than "kidnapped", by a escaped convict. His family, some new friends, and a detective, despite how crazy his family is and how weird his friends are, track down the convict and capture him rescuing Eddie. I personally like this story for many reasons.

"He kept on pestering Merry-weather to tell him some tricks of the trade, so Merry-weather agreed, well kind of." I can picture this scene mostly because of how they described certain scenes before this. They've shown pictures of the character and described other things in which they describe "the trick of the trade".
