She has found our second main character to be quite charming and there story is unavailing through letters back and forth and quality time. But the characters are approaching there love at two different speeds.

The setting in the book is placed in olden times which adds alot of thought into the kind of love people had for people back then and the way they spoke of one another is almost abstract

It can be inferred by Harrington actions of speaking these words "Think my love" that he feels strongly for harriot and is deeply in love with her. Considering that after these words he puts together a sentence targeted to making harriot feel as if marrying him is a good idea

The book is in first person as you are reading from the standpoint of the charcter.
