Status Updates From Köy

feels like I’ve been reading this book Hemingway style: slowly (just kinda futzed with it on and off), then all at once. it’s cracking me up. ratliff (“a pruner of vines,” is good w a sewing machine) immediately up there w/ shreve, quentin, and cash for my favorite Faulkner characters. this guy rocks. also going insane on all the material history. 30s milk separators! i did not know how those worked!!!
