A bit slow for the first 25 % with some depressing overtones, not to mention an unbelievable murder suicide scenario that brings two kids into sixty-something year old P.J.’s life. But once that happens things start to pick up.

A rom-com set in 1821 with excellent dialogue, wit and some very steamy scenes.

A 29 year old Londoner, Katie works as a PR representative for the LiWebber agency. She and her girlfriends frequently find themselves at odds with the lack of suitable candidates for men to date. When an opportunity to work in Fairlish, Scotland arises - where the men outnumber women 16:1 - Katie jumps at it.

Love these guys and the 1964 fictional town’s characters in Ballybucklebo in County Down in Northern Ireland set between Belfast and Bangor in Ulster.

I read a little bit more in between other books. Got to the part when she boards a ship to visit America to meet with American publishers.

Pausing book for a bit. It’s witty, funny and relatable even though it’s a hundred years old. But as it’s written in diary format and long; I want to take a break from it for awhile.
