i can’t help but love Jacks

there’s one thing that always bugs me in Garbers books. Why does it feel like her main characters only have two feelings when it comes to people, either they trust them and appreciate them, or they hate them and they’re so angry, and it shifts so often with their soon-to-be love interest. I’m a little tired of that tbh… Would be nice to see a character who managed to keep her cards to her chest.
