Don’t get the hype with this one, which at almost a quarter through probably means it’s not for me. Prose is obnoxious, Addie isn’t very interesting, and NOTHING IS HAPPENING. ‘Slow-burn’ still means something is burning at least - here entire chapters just reiterate the same point of how painful it is to be forgotten. Also the switch from past to present is too constant, annoying and jarring. DNF
