This is so intense, both the climbing sequences and some of the other events in the characters' lives.

Great description and great characters in this story about two teen friends who love rock climbing!

Still enjoying the ruminations of the protagonist as she reckons with her job as a translator, an obsessive crush, and generally existing.

Odd but compelling, with a sort of stream-of-consciousness style.

Interesting plot and character developments.

Can't wait to see how everyone gets out of these predicaments!

Next book club pick. I thought it might take a long time for the three characters to find each other, so I'm glad that happens fairly early, and now we can see how it will play out.

Captivated by the alien cultures, the language-focused plot, and the unfolding mystery!

New POV is sort of revealing more, but also more repetitive than I expected. Still waiting to see how well this will all pay off.

This book became more interesting when I figured out it's mirroring The Great Gatsby.

This is fun and odd. I'm hoping for a story that expands as different POVs appear.

I love the details of how the existence of instancing has shaped the history, culture, and storytelling of this world.

This is growing on me as the journey continues.
