Tella changes motives every page of the last few chapters, such a conflicted character.

I don't have anything bad to say, it's enjoyable following Dontella in her little life or death adventure. Things get more and more complicated with the details revealed about her mother, the escaping fates, the prince of hearts and the real identity of the master of Caraval. I know Scarlett and Dontella are polar opposites, but the way Tella was apathetic when Scarlett was crying rubbed me off in a wrong way.

I worry that this will not end very well for anyone involved 🙂
