as much as i rag on this book, i'm actually having tons of fun. i love stories about horrible people doing horrible things, i just wish these details didn't break immersion. i wish publishers didn't skimp on editors!

aside from the author not knowing shit about young women and shady corners of the internet, he also clearly doesn't know what "dad bod" means.

well. the author clearly has no knowledge on gen z women, jailbreaking your devices and darknet. enough about katy perry.

can't wait to be done. once the Action part of the story is over, we're left with the most generic boring romance conflict in existence.

i don't think i can take this book seriously when the sidekick of the main characters is an anthropomorphic hyena who talks in 3rd and got fired from his cop job due to anti-gnoll discrimination

the more i randomly come across people being mad at this book, the more i enjoy it. if cringe millennial/tumblr humour is a crime, then give me death penalty.

i'm very surprised by the top reviews being all 1/2* because it's genuinely a cool book! judging by the author's other books, maybe the regular readers aren't used to this kind of stories. or maybe i'm the weirdo who enjoys sci-fi world building, philosophical tangents and the main character getting fingered by hot women every other chapter.

the casual misogyny is taking me out. even when women are doctors and physicists, you are constantly reminded they are still Women. maybe i should've just watched the mini-series

i picked up the audiobook to have some noise as i'm falling asleep but sadly this is even more pretentious than your average self-help book. and i seem to usually enjoy those for some reason.
the title is misleading and the authors seem to actually take freud seriously

the narrator in the audiobook is really good except for when he does voices. and this is coming from someone who usually doesn't mind that.

i started it as an audiobook but i'm starting to think i might have to restart it as a physical book because hooooly damn. damn.

the sorrows of werther being one of the first books the creature has read sure explains a lot.

loved the previous books but this one is hard to follow. i can't even blame it on listening to the audiobook while falling asleep because i've done the same with the rest of the series and had no issues. all i know is there's killer bunnies and a guy named man boy slim.
