I'm not sure that I'll finish this book just yet. When I read a series, it is because I want to take a journey with a set of characters. Follow their progress, experience their growth,their lives, etc.... This is not that kind of series. The writing is solid & the stories are interesting, just not what I was expecting. More like 'connected stand-alones' than a series.

I'm enjoying the plot line as I usually do in this series. However I'm a bit put off by the way it's told in multiple voices. Not what I'm used to & a bit distracting :(
