theres so many jumping to conclusions and assumptions. author basically rambling and inserting his own moral grounds on sexism and eugenics to “explain” each rule. prose is lined with misogyny and toxic masculinity. im just surprised cuz it’s the first self help book ive encountered that included these

i would say the inner child archetypes would be better covered and explained by schema theory. it still sounds a bit sketchy here.

i wouldnt say those events experienced by low ACE scorers as described by author are traumas, it’s more like a continuous conditioning thing than an adverse event

author is rewording existing concepts (e.g. mindfulness, type 1 vs type 2 thinking, automatic vs intentional behaviours) into her set of holistic psychology jargons
