Terrible descriptions. Barely into chapter 2 and we’ve established that Sarah is so super duper skinny and petite like 5 times.

This is the 5th book. Why do we need to keep being reminded how things work? Why did it take Selena until the third time being portalled to figure out Draven intended to track her through the mate bond? These are obvious things and constantly having it spelled out is so insulting to the reader.

The constant repetition of plot points is so irritating and feels condescending- like the author thinks her readers are too stupid to understand what’s going on unless she spells it out for them.

The author thinks her readers are stupid. Sh continues to spell out every concept repeatedly like there’s no way we’re going to understand what’s going on unless she spells it out like we’re 5

The constant pity parties are so annoying. I don’t know if the author thinks we might’ve forgotten every terrible thing that ever happened to the FMC? Or if she wants to make sure we know the FMC is constantly thinking about all the ways she was done wrong. But omgggg I’m over it.

And still the exact same wording for everything. Everyone is “exquisitely beautiful” 🙄

There is no such thing as “show don’t tell” in this book
