Sick of low quality, mass-produced romance. I can’t muster the energy to wade through tons of crap to get to the meaningful bits.
Want something gritty and substantial to begin with; something that will blow my mind, make me think!

whoa lots of prefacing to the actual plot but boy only LJ can make it so captivating! Solid character development.

Been a year since I came across one of Kennedy Ryan’s books, long shot, and what a journey it has been!! I have read every single one of her books and some of them are my top 10 faves of all time. No one else has even come close.
The way she narrates romantic love is so special. All her characters love with reckless abandon and intimacy is so beautiful portrayed. She. Needs. To. A. Book. ASAP.

WHERE HAS S. M. SOTO BEEN ALL MY LIFE? Legit read half the book overnight!! Would have carried on if I didn’t have work in the morning 🙃 so many feels, so many tears, I don’t think I’ll ever be the same

Taking a break from this book... I don’t know. Not what I expected. Still very pleasantly surprised with some parts it was well ahead of its time but I may have expected too much due to the hype of one reviewer who swears it’s her favourite book of all time...oh well

Sold by Christy (someone I follow) sounds great, very excited

I am LOVING the banter between these two. L. J. Shen is sooo good at writing conversations

The main characters have hardly interacted and a third of the book is gone ughhhhh
