Is Odette love-bombing Swann?

Would this book pass the Bechdel test? What is it with thriller authors and their men-centered female characters? I hope this turns out to be a critique of a male- and marriage-centered lifestyle.

A totally wild, dark academia fever dream, but I'm loving it. Can't put it down.

I already like the setting a lot: New England college, creative writing course, poor outsider student wants to be part of the pretty (and rich?) group. Reminds me a bit of The Secret History. I'm a bit afraid of what's yet to happen 👀

This memoir makes me sympathise with Hannah Murray even more. Not only is she a very good actress but also a brilliant writer!

I don't know: I love the Y2K nostalgia but Percy is so annoying and her sexual experiences are kind of disturbing👀

Currently wondering if Percy (female main character) is an autistic pick-me girl or supposed to be "funny"?
