I wanted to read this because I often see TB referenced in vintage horror or gothic horror books.
I feel like TB is often glamorized when it is mentioned in works of fiction.
This book was really eye-opening and puts things into perspective.
Also, Henry’s story was so inspiring and emotional.

I was creeped out at the beginning; but each chapter is beginning to feel repetitive.

Reading this is like being a fly on the wall, or reading someone’s diary and discovering their most intimate thoughts and moments. This is fast paced and so scandalous!
This is giving Miranda July vibes.
I went into this without reading the synopsis and it was a mistake. The writing style is unique, so read the synopsis or overview of the plot and it will all make sense, otherwise it could be confusing.

I’m struggling with this one for some reason. It doesn’t seem as fast paced as some of Freida’s other books!

This might be the most relatable book ever. I’ve never read something so in line with my own experience and thoughts about working in an office.

Really impressed with the stories I’ve read so far! There’s just something SO creepy about porcelain dolls.

I’m only on page 66 and I have goosebumps reading the first details of what happened in the house.

Gothic undertones and the creepy school setting is giving Fall vibes.

This is absolutely insane in a good way!

Finally to part 4- so excited to read Nat Cassidy’s story!

Lenora by Jonathan Janz is perfection.

I can’t believe I got my hands on this one today. Imagine the look on my face when I saw this sitting on the shelf at my local bookstore.
So excited to read this after just recently finishing The Stand.

So glad I found this book.

There is a lot of hype right now about this one online- so figured it’s time to read. Hoping it’s good!

Not my usual type of read- picked it up at a bookshop on cape cod.
Trying to be open-minded; but the way the main characters’ adult children are portrayed and act is slightly annoying.
I do want to see what happens- so I will keep reading.

What took me so long to read this. The descriptions, words/phrases- nothing like an old school King book in the summer.

Ok, this is giving “Psycho” vibes and I love it!

This is the second story I have read by this author.
I feel like he starts off so strong; but the last 10 pages or so fall flat.
The ending of this just felt blah to me while I really like the beginning sections of this story and the character development.
This takes place in a casino where a bartender is working. While the bartender has no immediate suspicions of this man, she later learns of his obsessions.

This is SO good!

This will be my second book by this author. He deserves more recognition- his storytelling is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So far, this is beautiful in so many ways and just so relatable.

Very weird and very good- can’t even imagine how this will end!
