listened some more, still confused, read some reviews now i’m not sure if im gonna rlly like this. i thought the entire book was like the span on one night or a few nights and theyre actually fighting but it seems that there’s not rlly any fighting going on just who can make the prettier stuff?? might dnf im having a hard time paying attention and fully listening

i’m hells confused rn idk if it’s the structure or if i’m not paying enough attention or what but im confused on where we’re at. and are there just no chapters and it’s a bunch of spilt up paragraph sections orrr what. imma lock in harder and give it a chance

i’m almost done and i’m still undecided if i want to continue the series…i may have looked up spoilers to see who she ends up with and i can’t believe mavan betrays her, but i can cause he prolly found out she actually wants his brother just like everyone else when he thought “someone finally understood him but he was wrong” so he does her dirty, i don’t need to finish to know lmao

i’m confused w how easily distracted they are u would think at their age of 12 they’d desperately be wanting to go home yet ralph and piggy seem to be the only reasonable ones, maybe they like the idea that there are no adults so they get to be the adults and do what they want instead of being told what to do

i read powerless first before i knew she basically copied red queen so obvi i have to come and read the real thing and i can see the copying alr and im only 20% in. story seems good so far im excited to see where is goes😝😝

i might like the timeline of the movie more than the book atm, preferring the events to take place over multiple days rather than everything happening in one night. but the quick and eagerness of the beldam for something to prey on is more noticeable by how she immediately asks coraline to get button eyes

to want ur mother back so badly u have to act different and lie is relatable bc yk now how it feels to be disliked or ignored that u will do or say wtv she wants to hear or see so it never happens again no matter if it makes u unhappy in the process bc having a loving family change to hatred over night is an unsettling feeling

i’m listening to this and i’m lowkey hella lost w what’s going on but i do know that big brother is the watching eye, thinking bad thoughts gets u killed, everyone needs to talk in “newspeak” and some extra bullshit abt war

so relatable with not having a crush on anybody while everyone around u does and talks abt it and u don’t understand what that feels like. and watching everyone grow and change faster than u feeling as if ur falling behind can get overwhelming that u just try to take the easy route instead of what u rlly want to do

so marriage is horrible ofc she slept w her boss for a promotion and of course he hates his wife and wishes she would’ve died and now he has to move to keep her distracted
