u would think they’d be smart enough to climb the mountain to find the beast during the day when they could STILL SEE im so confused the last 2 chapters were pointless nothings and then u got simon w heat stroke illusions talking to a pigs head. oh and ofc of all the pigs laying there they had to kill the mother pig, good symbolism of how boys treat women no matter the form

i’m confused w how easily distracted they are u would think at their age of 12 they’d desperately be wanting to go home yet ralph and piggy seem to be the only reasonable ones, maybe they like the idea that there are no adults so they get to be the adults and do what they want instead of being told what to do

ik someone dies, idk who but ik someone does and i have a very strong feeling it’s jack that kills them, cause why is he more worried abt killing a pig than he his to go home, yes he says “we need meat” but he’s not killing the pig for the meat he’s killing the pig to prove that he can kill something
