With my new job. I'm not driving as much, and thus I have less of my audiobook time. I also am finding this one a bit worse than the previous books. I guess I'm having a harder time suspending disbelief on the combat prowess of some of these knights. Like, yes this Erec dude is epic. But he's 1 vs 300 and he takes out 100 before the inevitable ex machina? I.... eh.... it's just gotten so repetitive in many ways

Hooked. If I didn't need sleep before work tomorrow, I'd probably binge this one til I passed out. I haven't loved a Space Opera this much since Dune.

Rice continues to do a good job setting up conflicts that appear insurmountable and then dropping in an ex machina to save the day. I think I've got this one more or less figured out, but I've been surprised before. We shall see.

Haven't found as much time to read this one as I would like, but I plan on smashing it this week. I love this series so far, and this one is no exception. I'm happy to see one of my favorite characters from the show, Avasarala, making her first appearance. She is one hard bitch, and her love of cursing is right up my alley.

I get 10 audiobook rentals a month from Hoopla, and this series has now used 5 of them. I've said before that it's not particularly amazing, however it is still a great story. I've grown attached to all the characters, and cannot wait to find out what happens to them all. Rice does a great job of setting up each climax, yet routinely defies your expectations with one detail or another.

Once again, it has picked up precisely where the last left off, as if the entire series were written at once and just chopped up for the sake of having many volumes. I'm not upset though. I enjoy them well enough.

Picked up precisely where the previous book left off, barely moments later. The tension from the last book has carried over, leaving me excited to see what direction it will go.

It was a bit slow starting out but I'm invested now. The narrator for the audiobook speaks painfully slow, so I increased the speed slightly and it's much better. Given the length of the series, I can only imagine the story will continue to escalate. I look forward to it.

Having a bit more trouble getting into this one than the last one, but overall I'm still enjoying it. I definitely see myself completing the trilogy.

Pleasantly surprised so far. I expected a SAO ripoff but this is not that at all so far, and very entertaining to boot. It's chock full of MMO references and terminology, and also presents a fun story with a ton of possibilities. I find myself wishing I could play this game XD

It has definitely picked up the pace. I'm enjoying it more now than before. My main complaint is just that it seems to jump around a lot between the various characters/storylines. I can see where they might be intersecting soon though, and I'm intrigued. The Stratolaunch was handled excellently, and the author is painting a clear picture of the near future with a basis in reality.

I can tell the author has a pretty good handle on the science, and there are moments that are pretty good, but the dialogue is falling flat for me a bit. It feels less believable than softer sci fi to me, which is weird, but I don't hate it. I think I'll finish it.
