It’s both good and terribly long… I find the dual timeline interesting but the rhythm of it is kind of tedious… 2 chapters in the present followed by 2 chapters in the past, and so on… Hard to follow

It has potential, BUT… 1) I am 100% certain they are supposed to be soulmates and yet, they don’t have any chemistry, like, at all. 2) There’s absolutely no worldbuilding. 3) Everything just feels so rushed… 4) It’s literally a bad copy/paste of ACOTAR… Vaeris is Tamlin, Kairos is Rhys, Elwenn is Mor… And the war prize scene was literally just Feyre being introduced to the Nightmare Court🫥

Ok, this might sound crazy but: Did Astrid take Britt’s identity? It would make absolutely no sense considering they met right before Britt’s death but then they both could be extremely unreliable narrators…? And it would explain why Darren thought he saw Not-Britt with Britt, because it was Astrid’s sister. Does it make any sense? Intriguing!
