IT JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER IM GONNA CRY

this is AWESOME HOLY COW!!!! i love senlin to freaking death and i want him to find his wife again

gaiman is good when he uses dead things to point you to the living. the last few short stories have been too much dead pointing to dead. it’s not really novel, either, because the point of the stories has been apathy and numbness. too much of that in the world anyway 🙄 be different !!!!

this is cool :)

🤸‍♂️🧑‍🩰

I FREAKING LOVE NEIL GAIMAN

CALVIN AND HOBBES SPACEMAN SPIFF MENTION !!!!

fun read while sick :)

so far, so decent

david mitchell the light of my life and master of the short story

i DONT like exploring STRUGGLING MARRIAGES! depressing 😔😔

i need to go to bed

i forgot how ELECTRIC david mitchell is!!! some of the most believable characters in the world

any reservations i had about the book are GONE. i have almost CRIED. what a reflection on sin and sorrow and hope and religiosity and the victorian purity culture. wowwwww

i am going to set alec on fire and laugh while he burns

wowwww this is electric

ENCHANTING. i love unicorns now. and i am madly in love with bianchi. this is HEALING my need for FAIRYTALES!!!!

i have never been so involved in a book in my life. i’m just about as grimly scared and determined as if this were happening for real. stephen king sure knows how ugly we people can get, so i have to be taking breaks to remind myself of the good parts also. but MANNNN this book is good, holy moly

this is SO STUPID. how does she know how to use every weapon perfectly even though she can’t even remember doing it??? this amnesia plot device is HORRIBLE

where did the dragons and the undead come frommmmm i can’t do this anymoreeeee

GASSPPP auris is a fay??!! color me unimpressed. the fae city was beautiful but that’s about the only thing i’ve cared about this whole time, and even that was just kind of … announced. this thing isn’t immersive at all. it’s like brooks just sat down and started…. informing me. like over a PA speaker. *kscchhht* AURIS IS A FAY… THE TREES HERE ARE TALL… over. *kschcht* like bro 🙄🙄

auris is stupid, nothing is explained, described, or makes any sense, and i am beginning to strongly suspect that the love interest is this shrekian green guy with leafy hair and moss for eyebrows. sighhh..

bad and scary times :/ give me mother abagail back

mother abagail is going to make me CRY TEARS. idk about the rest of his books but in this one stephen king has got his finger on the pulse of the world. “In my heart I curse Him and ask ‘Why, why, why?’ and the only answer I get is ‘Where were you when I made the world?’”

wellllllll things are going and the Bad Man is coming and mr king sure likes his country music

i am already going to cry if i’m not careful…. thos might be beal-style 😳😳

i am living in here everybody go away.

this book would be more enjoyable if there was one (1) christian amidst all the freakyscary. i don’t ask for much only a little hope despite the JUMPSCARES. also justice for rita. larry is a clownface terrorizing this poor grandma
