It’s definitely a very slow story but I’m pushing my way through because the reviews are so good

Here are my predictions for the story so far;
1) Cass’s mother is possibly Elaine’s mother
2) Miss Grehan is going to steal student’s work and publish as her own

It’s going…

It’s a slow read… the story is slow, not in a bad way though. It’s slow like the life is for most of us, slow realizations, slow memories, slow momentum.

Something very bad is about to happen and I don’t want to continue reading because I don’t want to see how it’s going to go down

I think it got to a point of neutrality, I’ve been crying less over the past couple of chapters.

Really connected with the line “it’s better to be alive wishing I was dead than dying wishing I could live forever”

Mateo being mad at himself for wasting all the free periods sleeping instead of doing something… that’s my biggest fear too
