I started listening to the audiobook of this for the dual reason that 1) it came up as a recommended read for if you liked heated rivalry annnnd 2) (and more importantly) Joshua Jackson is the male reader 😍

Yes, I am happily on this bandwagon and excited to read the series.

I switched from How to Kill Men and Get Away With It to Beach Read because it felt wrong to read this anywhere but the beach. 🤷‍♀️

Guesstimating my percentage since it's an audiobook. On chapter 4 of 12. Finding out I can listen to audiobooks I haven't read to fall asleep to, it just takes me a LONG time to get through the book 🤷‍♀️

Left off on pg. 162 after flight to Disney... Picking back up a week later

I love that this book was inspired by Christine Blasey Ford. LOVE.

I had started this back in June but took a break to read we were liars again and family of liars before watching the new show. I'm back in it and Ione has led a fascinating life..

I am so glad I reread the first two books before reading #3 (hallelujah it's finally here!!)... I forgot about 90% of the story, especially the end of this book. Did I stay up until 4am to finish? Yes. Am I about to pick up book 3 to read a chapter before going to bed? You betcha 🤓

I remember from last time this is around when I couldn't stop reading. I wish I could call off of work and have a reading day 😒

This is a fascinating story told from two different points of view, and from opposite times. Noah's story starts at the present and works backwards while Maggie's story starts in the past and works forwards. I still don't know exactly what happened or who to believe. Very intriguing!

this book moves at a slower pace than the first book in the series. it also starts out a little randomly and I'm hoping the beginning makes sense at the end, but who knows? I'm also feeling a whole lot of similarities between this and the Discovery of Witches series, which is a weird parallel.. am I alone in that??

did you watch Sharknado and think.."I bet the book is better...and if they used volcanoes instead of tornadoes... and did it on a global scale." ?? you did?! then read this book immediately!!

This book is written in an interesting way.. we are jumping from character to character and year to year.. I am intrigued to see how everyone's story turns out...

I am really enjoying this book so far. The intrigue of how she came to be in the time that she's in and how she is adjusting to life 200 years before her own is fascinating to me. I am looking forward to what adventures lie ahead!

finally realized this is not the start of the Sherlock adventure... so pausing reading this to go back and start from the beginning.

the interruptions from the investigation are less annoying now, but still an interesting writing choice. sometimes I just want to get caught up in the story but the interruptions make that difficult and I find myself getting to figure out the mystery instead of being along for the ride...
