this book moves at a slower pace than the first book in the series. it also starts out a little randomly and I'm hoping the beginning makes sense at the end, but who knows? I'm also feeling a whole lot of similarities between this and the Discovery of Witches series, which is a weird parallel.. am I alone in that??
