I like that the worldbuilding is not based on a romanticized view Western Europe during the Middle Ages but that is literally the only thing this has going for it. I'm not impressed with the weak dialogue, characterisation, transparent plot and thematic simplicity so far.

Time to finally start Children of Dune!

This is literally the silliest excuse for a plot that I've ever read. And so many people letting out breaths they didn't knew they were holding!

It's just a... a calculating intelligence. Cost and benefit. It's trying to... maximize itself. It'll do whatever it has to - it'll lie to us, it'll kill - to increase its own power.
