Reading Darrow’a inner monologue is… well it’s something. Good thing we can agree on not having to like the MC to like the story?

Darrow’s inner monologue is hard to stomach, putting the two important women of his life on pedestals and being a gigantic preposterous hypocrite.

What. Am. I. Reading.

What am I reading? The plot feels like a plot in porn - disturbing the smut scenes, no real content and random. It coole be so much more, I hope we get there.

This really doesn’t qualify even as soft porn. Why did I pick it up? Actual story might now (about a third in!) maybe start beginning to develop?
