James Lee is finished with The Eye of Minds (The Mortality Doctrine, #1)
I would tell the main character to stay brave because throughout the book there are life and earth situations and if you stay calm and brave then you can get through it. You also have to think smart for difficult problems there are many problems that they will face.

In my book people go long times in a virtual world which is pretty natural. Micheal spends almost all of his time in the virtual world. To get things in the virtual world that are too expensive you have too hack. Hacking is super important and almost every garner knows how to do it. There were rules made because technology could get too dangerous.

One of the genres for this book is science fiction. This is because it takes place in a virtual world almost like the Oasis if you’ve read Ready player One. It also has lots technology, coding, and hacking which shows that it is a science fiction. Another genre is dystopia because it takes place in a virtual world that is “perfect”, but in fact what happens in the virtual world happens in the real world.

One symbol in this book is the egg. The egg in my opinion represents total power. With the egg you become Anorak and have complete power to do anything in the Oasis. It also represents wealth, and is super important to Wade. This is because the egg helps him escape the poverty of his life in and out of the Oasis.

There multiple allusions in Ready Player One. It is mainly references to 1980’s pop culture. For example, in the Oasis, Parzival owns a car called the Delorean. This is alluding to a movie made in the 80’s called Back to the Future. This is because in Back to the Future, there is a car called the Delorean which can travel to any point in time.

The inventor left an Easter egg in the game and the first person to find it won all of his money which was billions. It takes place on Earth in the 2040s. The incident incident is when the IOI finds the last key but can’t decipher the last gate. It is told in a chronological narrative order.

This story is plot driven. This is because once number 3 is killed that means that they’re coming after number 4 to kill him. This causes number 4(John) to flee from their city. Since John is not a human, his body develops super powers called Legacies. His legacies start to develop and starts to train. This is all happens because of the one event where number 3 dies.

James Lee is finished with The Wishing Spell (The Land of Stories, #1)
The climax takes place when Alex and Conner are taken by the Evil Queen. This is when things start to get exciting because you never know what will happen next. Things start to get really tense because they are captured and everybody around them is either fighting or looking for them. Then it ends when all fighting is over and the castle is destroyed.

James Lee is finished with The Wishing Spell (The Land of Stories, #1)
The Land of Stories is a quest plot type. This is because the main characters are sent to a fairy-tale world. In order to return back to Earth is through the Wishing Spell. To activate the wishing spell you have to obtain special items. When the twins try to obtain these items they face multiple obstacles, like the Thornbush Pit, making this a quest plot type.

This book is a high fantasy. There is a magical book possessed by young Alex Bailey and her brother Conner Bailey. This magical book takes them into a new world where fairy tales like Sleeping Beauty and Red Riding Hood are real. The magical book makes this book a juvenile fantasy because it was given as a gift giving them a power to teleport into a world full of fairy tales.

One important moment is when Eustace is transformed into a dragon. Eustace feels suddenly taken back realizing he won’t have anymore friends. He won’t enjoy the happiness and comfort of the people around him. This is definitely a defining moment for Eustace showing that he actually wants to be friends with Lucy and Edmund.

The setting of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader takes place in the unknown seas of Narnia. The visit takes place in magical islands of Narnia. Also it is in the 1900’s because of the language they use. It is not like modern English, and sounds older.

The conflict in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is character vs self. This is because Prince Caspian’s fear holds him back from exploring the unknown, dangerous seas. In order to find the lost lords he has to be courageous and brave.

One of the dynamic characters is Prince Caspian. Prince Caspian was a young boy scared of the woods and animals and uneducated about his surroundings. But one night he learns the truth of the evil place he lived in. He suddenly becomes an adventurous and brave character. He also becomes friends with nature. He was the Prince of the Telmarines but now he is the King of the Narnians.

James Lee is finished with Max: Best Friend. Hero. Marine.
The book was written to entertain. This book was full of action. The author would write this book to entertain the reader. The reader of this book is someone who is in the elementary because it wasn’t advanced. The reader’s interest would be animals especially dogs. This book is all about a heroic dog who saves the day. This author would write to appeal to emotion because there’s some dramatic parts in the book.

The tension in my book starts when the Russian’s Secret Police start arresting all Finns that speak out against Russia. As a Finn, Jake fears that his family might be next. One night, Jake hears footsteps walking up the stairs to his family’s apartment and a knock on his door. The character and the reader both know that a problem is going to occur. The author uses anticipation of conflict to create tension.

In my opinion the Sympathetic Character is Jake Maki. Jake moves from his house in Minnesota, all the way to Russia. I just feel sorry for him, because he has to leave all his friends and live in a foreign country. The unsympathetic character is Jake’s Father. Jake’s Father is really strict and forced his family to move to Russia.

The point of view of this book is 3rd person limited. This is because it only shows Jake’s feelings and doesn’t show anybody else’s.

The conflict in this story is Character vs Self. This is because Alice’s imagination gives her problems and then she has to solve them. Like in her dream when she fell down the rabbit hole.

The protagonist in this story is Alice. Alice is a very curious girl and is sensitive. Even though she’s sensitive she stands up for her right and is very proud. But sometimes other people see her as just a little girl even though she is capable of much more.
