Players that compete in Q school multiple times give themselves a few chances to qualify for the PGA tour and if they don’t they get a different job. Players will do something that they don’t know if they have to take a penalty or not. They don’t ask a rules official for a ruling because they don’t want to hold up play and after they sign their scorecard they ask. Then they get disqualified for an incorrect score.

Q School is what you compete in before you can be on the PGA tour. You have to shoot a certain score and then you go to the next stage if you get passed the first stage. If you pass the second stage you go on to the final stage. Some people like Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson don't have to go to Q school if you are that good and can play right out of college. Everyone has Q school stories if they'e been.

Ben and his wife were driving to a tournament when a big bus came into their lane to pass another car and it smashed into their car. Ben jumped in front of the passenger seat to block his wife from injury, saving both their lives. His wife wasn't really injured, just bruised but Ben's leg was hurt.

Right now the book is talking about Jack Fleck a golfer who turned professional at 17. He is a good player but has emotional problems on the golf course. He has quit multiple tournaments even if he was in the top ten. One time he was in the top ten and said to his wife if I 3 putt another green were going. He 3 putted and withdrew from the tournament. Another time he was in 3rd place and left because of a spectator.
