Lauren > Recent Status Updates

I can't do it anymore. I am forcing myself to read it at less than 50%, which has me convinced im not going to pick up the next book even if I do force myself to finish it.
I have no idea what's happening, the main character is annoying, and I fixated on the pronunciation of Loren's name because as a Lauren, I couldn't understand why it wasnt just spelled the way the author wanted it to sound.

I started this with zero expectations. It started off strong and now I have very high expectations because I love the characters, and the setup of the "enemies" half of their enemies-to-lovers story.

I'm at 65% and I don't know if i care enough to finish it 🫤

I feel like this is going to be emotionally damaging in the best possible way. If this book lets me down, I'll be so disappointed! The world building and character development has just been so amazing, I'm afraid to finish the book and have to leave this world.

This book is being put in the corner for a while. I just can't cope with the string of horrible decisions the main character keeps making.

This is painful to read. I still don't really care about the characters. Just finishing it because I have nothing else right now.
