I was enjoying the seemingly predictable romantasy to begin with, but I suddenly got the "ick" with Callum at about 70% and now I'm struggling. I can't even pinpoint WHY I got the ick. Which checks out, because everything i think of this book so far is based on the vibes rather than actual substance.

I started this with zero expectations. It started off strong and now I have very high expectations because I love the characters, and the setup of the "enemies" half of their enemies-to-lovers story.

I'm at 65% and I don't know if i care enough to finish it 🫤

I feel like this is going to be emotionally damaging in the best possible way. If this book lets me down, I'll be so disappointed! The world building and character development has just been so amazing, I'm afraid to finish the book and have to leave this world.

This book is being put in the corner for a while. I just can't cope with the string of horrible decisions the main character keeps making.

This is painful to read. I still don't really care about the characters. Just finishing it because I have nothing else right now.
