There is something so efficient and effective in a pkd novel. He's truly the best whoever did it (if it is sci-fi)

Pausing this read while I complete my holiday. It is too upsetting.

Probably my own fault for not reading the blurb but these really are folk tales, told almost in the oral tradition. They seem crafted for camp fires and teenage sleepovers more than for the page. But they're canny enough.

This has started much more strongly than Stars, Like dust. Straight of the bat it's noticeably better executed but what I most like is that this feels like a book that belongs in the greater foundation universe. We are learning about Trantor and the rise of the galactic empire. Good start let's see where we end up.

Utterly incomprehensible so far but I will keep going.

Inject this into my heart I love it so much.

I'm really enjoying this but it's quite a slow read.

This is absolutely brilliant hard sci-fi
