The first quarter of this book was so fast paced and enticing it hooked me from the start then around the next quarter closer to the halfway point of the book it went at such a slow pace almost agonizing meant to reflect such a desperate time of Patroclus and Achilles life now at the halfway point with the war starting I believe it will go extremely fast until the end but I’ll see!

Honestly I don’t love the audiobook narration and the story seems a bit cliche but I’m 9% into the book and I’m trying to read more lesbian sapphic romances I’ve never found one that I like so let’s see how it goes!

The spice was actually a lot more hot than the first novel with Coal and Hex it’s sexier but Hex and Coals emotional sappyness I like better

I don’t love the dinamic between these two

Azriel has so much funny one liners please I need more of him in the next book
