reading is not working right now so as usual this calls for my grand detective. and aaall my solving skills are on the case.

started a „spending the rest of this year intensely and intentionally with Jesus“ journey including Bible reading, Bible writing, daily devotional, books on christian living and prayer journaling. and after the terrible day yesterday, i had such a peaceful morning with Jesus. it is a delight. 💙

much needed reread. maybe this time i will actually accept the truths in this book and let God in

sadly can’t finish this tonight although i want to so badly. similar to book one, i question some dialogues and plotlines but the romantic parts are so great, they might even it out

why is it that this book includes odd elements and irritating dialogues and questionable plotlines when the romantic scenes are so utterly perfect WHY??? i want to love this 😞

it also makes no sense to me when it isn’t her only option?! it was just confirmed?!

how i hate it. the book is so great but this is ruining it a little bit. ugh and that right after the most perfect dance..

rereading this to stick to the series and i‘m excited! i do hope though that my liking of the other books will copy this first book and not the prequel (which i just gave two stars)

i adore this author’s other book but i‘m sorry. she is unwillingly married, he keeps her more or less unwanted under deception and yet he still keeps talking about having children with her?!

cleaned out my goodreads, now i feel better 😂 reviews are updated, books i felt unsure about are deleted and i changed up my tbr shelf

ok but not loving it so far 😶‍🌫️ the main element that makes the plot work is immensely strange in my eyes..

once again attempting a new start and with it i‘m in desperate need for a series i can fall into and adore immensely so this is my try 🧚🏻‍♂️

i pray that this autumn will be a season of renewal for all of us. Letting go of the bad and the ugly and taking in healing, rest and peace 🐱💛🧸⛪️🍪
