So far… I think a lot could have been omitted from the novel. Not the struggles (let’s be real, racism) Ronin has faced, but all the fluff parts. We’re meeting other characters of minorities in Great Britain circa 1830’s, looking forward to additional friendships!

Omg please don’t tell me she’s giving up the massive secret!!!

Already obsessed!!!

A great audiobook, but I don't envision Kaan sounding like the narrator (so sorry)... based on the description of the character, I expected a mix of Sean Connery's Scottish gruffness with Idris Elba's richness.

This is my main complaint about the audiobook, but I keep listening to it!

These books have been so fun, I still am riding a high from the adventures!

This is such a comfort read for me, I really love the story.

As the year comes to a close, remember that reading isn’t a race… it’s a journey! Whether you read 1️⃣ book or 💯 books, the only metric that matters is the joy you found in reading!

Editing seems off? I’m not an editor (obviously) but this feels a bit choppy. Additionally, there are parts that are very long and drawn out but aren’t important and then important areas that are very short. Maybe this is just my thought.

2. KATIA DID WHAT? Truly caught me off guard. So epic!

Intriguing so far, not sure I like the constant chapter flashbacks/present timeframe. We’ll see how the rest of the book is!

This picks up RIGHT where we left off in The Will of the Many. I am ecstatic! These are quickly becoming my fantasy reads of 2025.

Now it’s giving 2011’s, The Roommate… 🤔 We’ve seen the whole “wanting to become my friend” shtick before!

Why does this feel similar but different take on 2009’s throwback movie, Orphan? Instead of an adult posing as a kid, it’s an adult posing as a nanny…👶

Multiple storylines, I’m excited to see how they will all interact! Marcellus is an angel so far, looking forward to that character development! 🐙
