Needed a quick palate cleanser between two large books, and this has been on my to-read list for a while.

I can't take this eye-contact therapy seriously.

But other than that, the last 100 pages have been interesting.

Trunk Chapter finished

Now things are moving…

New goal: read 50 pages a day, and have the trunk chapter finished by tomorrow.

Progress is slow but steady.

Finally more than halfway!

My goal is to get to page 200 (maybe page 250) by Friday

Locked in yesterday and finished Roots. Trying to finish Trunk by Friday evening!

Finally invested. It just took me getting through the first chapter.

At last, the adventure is underway.

I have never needed a beach weekend more, where I could just dive into this

Back for more, because I love big fantasy books that will stomp on my heart I guess. RH, you did me dirty with the last book, but I’m giving you another shot. Time for my yearly venture into the Realm of the Elderlings.
