I basically read 270 pages in one day. I was feeling it

Starting to develop an understanding of what happened and who these people are.. not fully, but somewhat.

Finishing chapter 3, and then going back to read the quotes at the beginning of the novel, is a great idea.

Here we go, now it’s getting good.

Finally found an audiobook version so I can listen while I drive. Just what I needed.

Absolutely flew through that part.

If this ends up being some version of the “global elites torture children to harvest adrenochrome” conspiracy, this book is getting 1 star.

My guess: Greta is a witch or an energy vampire or something (or a serial killer or something - is this fantasy blending with reality? Please no.) and Leslie helps procure victims for her. Maybe Charlie does too, or one of the other tenants. I guess Nick could be one, he’s young.

My reasons: “your youthfulness gives me life.” Leslie asking about next of kin. Erica saying “it’s him.”
