Jess is 25% done with Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator (Charlie Bucket, #2)

So far… this is a big departure from the wonderful tale of Charlie and the chocolate factory… this story takes a wild turn from where the 1st book left off in a completely ridiculous way. Maybe I can’t get into because I’m an adult but then again maybe it’s just not as good. Plus there are tons of problematic stereotypes in my opinion. I will try to finish but I’m not anticipating enjoying it.

Jess is 80% done with If It Bleeds (Holly Gibney #2)

1st 3 novellas of this collection read. One to go. I quite enjoyed “Mr Harrigan’s Phone”. “Life of Chuck” had some moments but overall was ok for me. The 3rd story, “If It Bleeds”, I was unsure of especially since I don’t like horror, however, I ended up really enjoying. 4th and final story now started, “Rat”.
